Q. Are there other Golf leagues using this scheduler?

A. Yes, leagues all over the world are using the
    software, some with close to 3,000 players in one

Q. Can the results be published to our web site?

A. Yes. Schedules can be exported as text files that are
    then easily published to HTML using any of the popular
    word processors like Microsoft Word or Word Perfect.

A. Yes. It can be exported as a text file.

Q. How long does it take to make an average
     schedule?


A. Once the information about the teams and locations is
    entered such as the team names, locations of the
    coarse and holiday days the schedule is usually
    generated in under a minute.

Q. Can games be added once the schedule has been
     generated?


A. Yes. Add the game at the bottom of the list of games. If
    it is a new location add it on the locations screen and
    then go to Activities and choose Resort.

Q. Can it schedule inter divisional play?

A. Yes it can. If you have two divisions A and B, and the
    A division is going to play each other 4 times, and the
    B division is going to play each other 4 times, and the
    teams in div A are going to play div B once, create
    three schedules. Schedule #1- contains all eight teams
    playing each other once. This will give you the
    inter-divisional games plus 1 round of games within
    each division. Then make a schedule for each division
    with three round robins in each. Merge the three
    schedules into one. You will then have a schedule with
    the games you wanted.

Q. How can I know if it will work for our league?

A. The trial version is free and is locked to 9 teams.
    Make a prototype of your schedule using the trial
    version. This will give a very accurate idea of the ease of
    use and type of schedule you can generate. Stick as
    closely as possible to actual parameters that exist in
    your league. If you need help during the trial process be
    sure to let us know.

Q. How can I start using the software right away?

A. The trial version is locked to nine teams. As soon as
    you purchase it you can click "purchase" on the trial
    version. E-mail the lock number to us. We will send you
    back a "key" number that allows you to have the full
    version of the software. You can be up and running the

Q. How do I know this is the best scheduler for me as
     I have seen other schedulers advertised?


A. Don't buy before you try! We're confident of our product
    and always suggest that you make sure to try out the
    trial version. All schedulers aren't equal and a common
    complaint we hear after people have chosen ours is that
    the others were "too difficult" to use. Quality
    programming equals ease of use. If we don't think our
    scheduler is right for your situation we will tell you if you
    let us know a little about your organization.

Q. Can I make a schedule where teams have
     "home" locations?


A. Yes

     home computer as well as the league office?


A. Yes. We try to accommodate any reasonable request.


Q. How many records can Membership Manager hold?

A. Upwards of 10,000.

Q. Can I import my data from the program we used
     before this?


A. Yes. Membership Manager can import data from other
    database programs, which have the ability to convert or
    save data to a .DBF file. This includes FoxPro, dBase,
    Paradox, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and most
    other database programs.

Q. Can the program print mailing labels?

A. Yes. The most common mailing labels can be printed
    right from the program.

Q. We run a seasonal organization and hire a lot of
    staff during the summer. Will they be able to use
    this program without a lot of training?


A. Yes. The learning curve on this software is 30 minutes.
    The program has proved very stable under extreme
    conditions such as 50 novice volunteers on a networked
    version inputting info at the same time.

Q. Can we keep track of membership dues?

A. Yes. Financial records are attached to each person and
    can be printed, totaled as a single record or part as a

Q. Our club has some special items we keep track of.
    Can some of the data fields be changed to reflect
    our unique requirements?


A. Yes. Outside of the vital statistics on a member or
    player 23 fields may be customized to meet your
    conditions.

Q. Can data from Membership Manager be exported
    to other programs?

A. Yes. Membership Manager exports to a .DBF format.
    This can be used for any type of mail merge you wish to
    perform or can be sent to other databases or
    spreadsheets.

Q. Is there a way to move member's information
    forward year after year?


A. Yes. The software allows for mass moves within groups
    of members. For instance it you were dealing with young
    people and the age cutoff on a certain level was 12 years,
    you could bring up all the 11-year-olds from last year and
    move them on mass to the 12-year-old group. You
    would then have a chance to scroll through and edit the
    list before the move was completed.

Q. Can we move this software to another computer
    after the employee who took care of this changes?


A. Yes. We honor all reasonable requests as this
    happens frequently in volunteer organizations.
